Martin Allen has been named as Chesterfield’s new manager.
Allen, who was latterly at Barnet, is joined by Adrian Whitbread, who will be his assistant and former Spireites keeper Carl Muggleton, who takes on the joint role of head of recruitment and goalkeeper coach.
The 52-year-old has plenty Non-League experience and guided Barnet to the Conference title in the 2014/15 season.
Two years before that, Allen was manager of Gillingham when they won the League Two title.
