Stockport County have completed the signing of young striker Nyall Bell.
The 21-year-old arrives at Edgeley Park having left National League side Gateshead following the end of last season.
Although he was contracted with the Tynesiders last season, Bell spent time on loan with both Chester and Alfreton during the course of the campaign.
The striker came through the youth ranks at Rochdale before and spent time on loan at Droylsden and Chester before making a permanent switch to Gateshead in the summer of 2016.
Manager Jim Gannon told the club’s official website, “Nyal is a Stockport lad who we have been aware of for quite a while. We have been monitoring his progress over the last two seasons whilst he has been plying his trade out of Gateshead FC in both the National and National North through various loans.
All the staff that have worked with him previously, or scouts that have seen him, highlight the great potential in Nyal and I trust that our team can help him realise his full ability, and have a big impact in the game at his hometown Club.”
