Basford United have started their preparation for the Evo Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division with a a trio of new signings.
Kieran Preston, a former Scotland youth international, has signed from Grantham and defenders Ellis Storey and Liam Bateman have joined from Gainsborough Trinity and Kettering Town respectively.
Manager Martin Carruthers expressed his excitement at the new signings, by telling the club's official website,
“I am absolutely delighted to sign these three players, who are all players I have had on my radar for a long time.
“As we step up the league, so we are going to need greater strength in depth and these signings are players of real quality who have experience at higher levels.”
