Farsley Celtic have strengthened their squad ahead of the upcoming Northern Premier League season by signing goalkeeper Ed Hall from local rivals Bradford PA.
The 24-year-old moved to Horsfall Stadium in November 2016 but ultimately found his first team chances limited by the form of first-choice keeper Steven Drench.
Before moving to Bradford Pa, Hall, who has been capped on two occasions by the Yorkshire Football Team, represented the likes of Brighouse Town, Nostell Miners Welfare and Silsden.
Farsley manager Adam Lakeland said, “’I am delighted to have got Ed on board. He is a very talented lad who hasn’t played enough football in the past couple of seasons.
However, he’s been number two to one of the best non league keepers around in Steven Drench and whenever Ed stepped in to play, he performed very well and he now has to establish himself as a number one in his own right’
‘His attitude and appetite to play more regularly will stand him in good stead and he is another local player who comes into our group’
