Redditch United have completed a double signing as they prepare for next season's Southern League Central campaign.
The Reds have announced that Tom Fishwick and Leam Howards will both be plying their trade at the Valley Stadium during the upcoming season.
Redditch have beaten a number of club's to the signing of centre-back Fishwick after he impressed during a brief stint with the Reds towards the end of last season.
Manager Paul Davis said: “During his spell with Redditch, he showed the capabilities needed to be a top centre-half.
“Tom has gained some excellent experience playing at this level and, despite his young years, that experience has allowed him to develop into an established player.”
Meanwhile, former Banbury striker Howards arrives at Redditch with an impressive goal scoring tally having found the net 57 times in 150 games at Southern League level.
“At 23, Leam has his best years ahead of him,” added Davis. “I am delighted to have him on-board; he brings work-rate and goals on the pitch, while off the pitch he will be one of the characters of the dressing room.
“I expect good things from Leam, and I am sure he will turn out to be a fantastic signing.”
