Brightlingsea Regent winger Rob Harvey signs for Championship side Millwall FC

Harvey had a spell training with Millwall’s U23 squad last term and has been snapped up following a trial period.

Bostik League winger Rob Harvey has stepped up five divisions to sign for Millwall in the Championship for an undisclosed fee.
The promising 18-year-old broke into Brightlingsea Regent’s first team last season where he attracted the attention of several Football League clubs.
Harvey had a spell training with Millwall’s U23 squad last term and has been snapped up following a trial period.
“I’m very pleased with [the move],” he said. “It came about last season when I was playing in the first-team at Brightlingsea, and I came back in pre-season.
“I’ve always played in non-league so it’s nice to get a break playing professionally.”
