Coalville Town fan donates his shirt to solve club’s kit crisis

(Kyle Perry… and a shirt not big enough to fit him!)

New signing Kyle Perry risked missing his debut tomorrow as the club didn't have a shirt big enough to fit him.

Standing at 6ft 4′ the experienced forward was struggling to pull on the biggest shirt the club had with kit supplier Macron unable to send one from their HQ in Italy until next week.
After some head scratching on how to overcome the issue a plea was put out on social media to see if any of the more “well-built” supporters would donate one of their replica shirts for the game.
Tomorrow, against visitors , Perry will step out in the number 11 shirt donated by long-time Coalville supporter Damien Trown.
The shirt which can normally be seen in the bars and pubs in and around the Central Premier Division grounds will this time be in the thick of the action.
Club Chairman Glyn Rennocks said: “We are really grateful to Damien for donating his shirt for the match as at one point it did look like Kyle would have his debut delayed but this is just another example of why we all love .”
