Curzon Ashton appoint Mark Bradshaw as manager

Curzon Ashton have moved quickly to appoint their new manager after sacking boss John Flanagan this morning.

Mark Bradshaw has stepped up having been head coach at the National League North club for over a decade.

He has also been integral to Curzon’s junior and youth set ups and will be in charge of next weekend’s game at F.C. United.

Curzon are winless in their last five league games and were knocked out of the FA Trophy last Saturday by the Northern Premier League’s Basford United.

Flanagan won two promotions with the Nash to take them into Step 2, the highest level the club has operated at, and then avoided relegation for the past three seasons on a modest budget.

Curzon currently sit four points above the drop and seven off the play-off places.
