No sympathy required, but it’s quite tricky writing a column called Away Days when there are no away days. There aren’t even any Home Days, only days at home.
I never did stick that fixture list up in the kitchen, which is just as well as the season became a moveable feast before the table was kicked over and the whole thing chucked in the bin. Not even a bone for the dog, if I had a dog.
