MARC WEATHERSTONE says a decent FA Trophy run will go a long way for his Wingate & Finchley side.
The Blues ended holders Hornchurch’s defence of Non-League’s top cup at the first hurdle with a penalty shoot-out win.
Keeper Ben Goode saved from his opposite No.1 Joe Wright to see Weatherstone through to the first round proper, where they will travel to Hanwell Town.
And young boss Weatherstone says that winning feeling is something they are desperate to bottle.
