Come and lead Hastings’ battle urges U’s chief

DEFIANT Hastings United chairman Billy Wood believes they will still achieve their promotion aim this season despite the shock resignation of manager Chris Agutter.
The Isthmian South East favourites have already been inundated with applicants since the news broke last weekend.
The U’s had made a solid start to the season but when Agutter approached chief Wood for a meeting on Sunday, he expressed his desire to leave the club for a new challenge.
