SOMETIMES the nice guys do win!
It was wonderful to read David Richardson’s in-depth interview with Ian Allinson, inset, in The NLP ahead of St Albans City’s cup tie with Forest Green and to learn how the former Arsenal star is not afraid to get his hands dirty around the club and how he is treating his players a lot better than how George Graham treated him when he was at Highbury.
Then it was even better to watch the Saints see off the League Two side at Clarence Park 3-2 on Sunday in front of a packed crowd.
