Boreham Wood shocked AFC Bournemouth to set up an FA Cup fifth round trip to Premier League Everton.
Mark Ricketts put the Non-League side ahead in the first half on the south coast.
Luke Garrard’s men defended superbly as the Championship outfit tried to find a way back into the fourth round tie with keeper Taye Ashby-Hammond, on loan from Fulham, making a stunning double save.
And the National League side held onto their advantage given to them by 37-year-old Ricketts with an accurate finish via the post from the edge of the box on 38 minutes.
Garrard’s side are yet to concede a goal in this season’s competition.
The Wood are the final Non-League team left in the FA Cup and up next is a mouth-watering away date at Goodison Park, where they face Everton and their new boss Frank Lampard.
