BOSS FEENEY SETS OUT TO EARN HIS WINGS

WARREN Feeney believes going back to basics will help Welling United in their quest for survival in National League South.
The 40-year-old ex-Northern Ireland international was named the new Wings’ boss this week, replacing former England manager Peter Taylor, ousted after a run of just one win from 11 matches.
Feeney landed the job having left his previous role in charge of Bulgarian side Pirin Blagoevgrad in December.
The 46-cap striker has also previously taken the dugout at Lingfield, Ards and Northern Ireland Under-21s on a short-term basis last March.
