BALA TOWN took revenge for their JD Welsh Cup semi-final defeat on penalties to Penybont a fortnight ago by hammering the same opponents 5-0 to move closer to securing a European place in the JD Cymru Premiership Conference.
It was all one-way traffic after Bala scored three goals in the opening half-an-hour to take a firm grip on proceedings and severely dent the chances of Rhyus Griffiths’ home side in finishing second.
