Legend Dale’s goodbye to Blyth

BLYTH Spartans legend Robbie Dale has made an emotional farewell to the club’s supporters – but has revealed he is looking to extend his playing career.
The37-year-old has rackedup over 700 appearances for the National League North clubsince moving to Croft Park in 2005.
He has become synonymous with the Northumberland outfit, helping the club to two promotions, two FA Cup third round appearances and three Northumberland Se-nior Cups.
Thelatter of those CountyCup triumphs came at St James Park on Thursday night as Dale scored in a 3-2 win over Newcastle United U23s.
