MARSKE UNITED goal hero Adam Boyes led out Liverpool and Chelsea before yesterday’s FA Cup final.
The striker’s 11 goals in this season’s competition put him on top of the goal charts ahead of the likes of Mo Salah.
The former Guiseley frontman also scored 29 times in the league as Step 4 Marske won promotion through the play-offs.
“It’s a great achievement, I never expected it to happen,” Boyes told ITV Tyne Tees.
