THE end of the season is rapidly approaching but there are still bits and bobs to choose from on fixture lists. Fortunately, today I can still pull in a double header within ten miles from my house.

THE end of the season is rapidly approaching but there are still bits and bobs to choose from on fixture lists. Fortunately, today I can still pull in a double header within ten miles from my house.
Two Notts Senior League Cup Finals are being played at Basford United’s ground – one at 11am and the other at 3pm. I consider doing both but then notice there are other matches in the NSL in the afternoon, most of which I haven’t visited. I decide to do the early game at Greenwich Avenue and then later head off to Kirton Brickworks.
