EVERYTHING about Grimsby Town’s promotion season has been a real team effort – including the summer signing of top scorer John McAtee.
The 16-goal Mariners hotshot, once linked with Newcastle United, turned down a new contract at fierce rivals Scunthorpe United to link up with boss Paul Hurst for a third time having featured under him at Shrewsbury Town and at Glanford Park.
