STALWART Sam Carey reckons an eventful ascent to Step 5 will help Worcester Raiders take this most unexpected of promotions in their stride.
The 28-year-old, raised and based in the city, has seen a lot in his six years with the club, playing his part in promotion to Step 6 and featuring prominently throughout their new era at the 11,000-plus capacity Sixways Stadium, home to Premiership Rugby outfit Worcester Warriors.
