Neil Cugley is preparing for pre-season number 35 – and the last 36 have been with Pitching-In Isthmian Premier side Folkestone Invicta.

THIS is pre-season number 35 for manager Neil Cugley.
“I am getting used to them now,” laughs the Folkestone Invicta boss.
The last 26 have, of course, been with the Pitching In Isthmian Premier outfit for the longest serving manager in the top seven tiers of English football.
“They’ve changed a bit,” Cugley adds. “They’re a bit more intense. Credit to the players, they come back a lot fitter than they used to. Pre-season used to be to get fit. They come back fit already.
