FORMER Premier League striker Leroy Lita has thrown his hat in the ring to become Hednesford Town’s permanent manager having been placed in caretaker charge last weekend.
The 37-year-old Reading legend, touted for an England call-up on the back of a 14-goal haul for the Royals in 2006-07, stepped up alongside fellow former professional Martin Riley when Keenen Meakin-Richards and his backroom staff stepped down following a 2-1 defeat at home to Bedford Town.
