SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3 SLIMBRIDGE 0 SHOLING 0 I AM flying solo today. Everyone I carshare with has been to Slimbridge FC but I need to visit. Today’s FA Cup first qualifying round is an ideal opportunity to finally tick off Thornhill Park. As expected, holiday traffic on the M42 and M5 is extremely busy but I have built in plenty of time for the journey south-west. The second I arrive, the heavens open; a veritable biblical downpour.
