DAVID UNSWORTH says Oldham Athletic is the perfect place for his first permanent job as a first team boss – and he plans to help rebuild the club from top to bottom.
The 48-year-old former Everton and Sheffield United defender has replaced club legend John Sheridan, who signed off last weekend with a victory over Eastleigh.
Unsworth has spent a number of years coaching in youth development football at Preston North End, Sheffield United and the Premier League Blues.
