THE WORLD of football is united in mourning for one of Non-League football’s most heroic figures, Ronnie Radford, who died this week at the age of 79.
Radford scored one of the most iconic goals in FA Cup history in helping Hereford United, of the Southern League, knock out top-flight Newcastle United in a third round replay on February 5, 1972 in front of a packed Edgar Street.
