LONG-SUFFERING Scunthorpe United supporters say they can finally look forward to a bright new future after the club announced a takeover deal under new ownership this week.
The Iron, languishing second from bottom in the National League after relegation from the Football League last season, have agreed a deal for the acquisition of the club by a local group headed by former director Simon Elliott and Ian Sharp.
