THACKLEY SACK PAT

THACKLEY have relieved Patrick McGuire of his duties as manager of the Northern Counties East Premier outfit after nearly five years in the hotseat.
Former Thackley player and club captain McGuire was appointed joint manager in January 2018, and took sole charge the following summer.
A statement said: “Only with McGuire’s loyalty to the club, and the loyalty he garnered from the first team players, was our first team able to compete and retain our place in the NCEL Premier Division.
