TWO-AND-A-HALF years after they began a self-imposed exile from the footballing world, the famous name of Droylsden FC may well be re-awakening.
The former Conference side resigned from the Northern Premier League back in August 2020, citing the devastating financial toll that the Covid lockdowns had taken on the club’s finances.
