Plums boss quits to take a degree

HE MAY have landed a league title and four cups in the space of 18 months but Danny Janes admits he still has a lot to learn.
That’s why the highly-rated young boss has decided to step down as manager of Pershore Town – to undertake a masters degree in psychology.
Janes took over the mid-table Plums in November 2021 but inspired a surge into the play-offs and three cup victories, including the club’s first Worcestershire Senior Cup.
