EAGLES BAG ACE ARCHIE

BUSY Bedford Town believe they’ve netted a top signing in striker Archie McClelland.
The 27-year-old previously played under new Eagles boss Lee Bircham at Leighton Town. He scored 53 goals in 119 games and now steps up to Southern League Division One Central.
Bircham said: “Archie is a player with electrifying pace and will cause a lot of problems in the opposition’s final third.
“He is comfortable either as a winger or running in behind – whichever position he plays in, he will certainly give a defender a tough afternoon.”
