SECOND CHANCE: Uttoxeter Town are back in Step 5

CHAIRMAN Pete Clewer is backing Uttoxeter Town to grab a second chance at Step 5 with both hands after this week’s double boost.
Town got relegated from the Midland Football League (MFL) Premier Division and had been due to line up in the North West Counties League (NWCFL) at Step 6 – an allocation that was unsuccessfully appealed.
However, Winsford United’s request to drop down after being moved sideways into the MFL Premier not only put Uttoxeter top of the pile to stay up but also to rejoin its first-choice destination...
