EDWARDS ON BOARD TO FULFIL BOROUGH AMBITION

AMBITIOUS Redditch Borough aim to enter the National League System for the first time having swooped for a Step 6 title-winning manager.
John Edwards, who guided nearby Studley to the Hellenic League Division One title little more than a year ago, has taken the hotseat at Cherry Tree Walk.
The Redditch-based boss has at least five players who lined up for the Bees at Step 5 last season following him as Borough, located less than a mile from Southern League club Redditch United, look to rise out of Step 7 for the first time.
