FANS IN BID TO REIGNITE ROCKS

LOYAL fans of defunct East Thurrock United are working together to create a new fan-run community football club in the wake of the former club’s demise.
The Isthmian North Rocks went into liquidation last month, bringing an end to 54 years of history.
But now the long-suffering supporters have set up a working group with the aim of creating phoenix club East Thurrock Community FC.
