Biographer CLIVE YOULTON shares memories of Geoff Chapple following his retirement from football last week

IT was in the last century but I remember it like it was yesterday. Remarkably, Geoff Chapple had just led Kingstonian to victory against Forest Green Rovers in the FA Trophy final. It was May 15, 1999.
Why remarkable? Well, it was the fourth time he had achieved the managerial feat in six years. The fact he did it again in 2000 to make it five in seven was staggering.
