RICHARD Hill couldn’t hide his his disappointment after Eastleigh’s dream of an FA Cup match-up with Manchester United was dashed at the Silverlake on Tuesday night.
Hill’s men went down 3-1 at home to League Two Newport County in their third round replay after having held the Exiles to a 1-1 draw in the initial tie with ten men.
Aaron Wildig handed Newport a third-minute lead, only for the Spitfires to level through top scorer Paul McCallum.
