Board must answer this play-off mess

SERIOUS questions need to be asked of the competence and governance of the board of the National League who last Sunday disregarded their own rules for several hours.
The timing of the decision to remove Gateshead at such a late stage needs to be questioned.
If their stadium issue had been revealed before the season’s end then the team finishing eighth should have been entered into the play-offs.
And when Gateshead did get removed on Sunday, the National League seemingly failed to read their own rules and gave fifth placed Solihull Moors a bye, and announc...
