THE Essex Senior League playoffs finally went ahead three days late after Saffron Walden Town were charged with various financial offences. It started a few weeks earlier when the Essex FA suspended tjhe Bloods but the club continued to play matches in the League and in cup competitions. The Essex Senior League didn’t receive direct notification and the situation was only discovered after some games which should been postponed went ahead.
