A NEW

GARSTANG have appointed former Blackpool, Barrow, Fleetwood Town and Lancaster City player Guy Hefferman as their new manager.
Hefferman, who previously managed Holker Old Boys, Nelson and Maine Road, has filled the vacancy left by Darrell Slater-Smith who left the North West Counties Division One North club by mutual consent last month after they finished third from bottom.
Chairman Adrian Wilding said: “We are very happy that Guy is joining us as first team manager.
