ROB’S ALL READY TO GIVE HEED A CHANCE

GATESHEAD manager Rob Elliot says his entire squad will have to be ready for action as the Tynesiders compete on four different fronts this season.
The Heed kick off their National League Cup campaign with a home game against Championship neighbours Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
The 2-0 midweek league win over Boston United kept Elliot’s men in the National League play-off places and the Heed will discover their opponents in this season’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round opponents tomorrow afternoon.
