MANAGEMENT duo Joe Lea and Pat Suraci have swapped a play-off chase for a relegation battle after leaving Gosport Borough for league rivals Poole Town.
The pair have been drafted in by the Dolphins to replace Steve Tully, who left by mutual consent this week with the club winless in eight matches.
Last season, Lea, 27, and Suraci, 26, took a Gosport side that finished 17th in the 2022/23 season and turned them into promotion contenders as they finished in fourth place – losing out in the play-offs to Salisbury – and two historic cup runs.
