BONNE SPARKS DERBY DELIGHT

GOALS in either half from Macau-ley Bonne and Gus Scott-Morriss helped Southend United take derby honours over local rivals Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road.
Former Charlton, QPR and Ipswich striker Bonne fired the Shrimpers in front just before half-time from Charley Kendall’s cut-back – his first goal for the club.
And Kevin Maher’s men sealed the win midway through the second half as Gus Scott-Morriss scored his 11th league goal of the season from Oli Coker’s free-kick.
