FORMER Premier League striker Wayne Andrews dusted down his boots for one final cameo at the age of 47 this week and admitted: ‘It felt fantastic’.
Andrews has not kicked a ball competitively since retiring from professional football with a knee injury 16 years ago – and even had a kidney transplant in 2016.
Yet that didn’t stop the super fit forward from turning out one more times after coming on a substitute for Wealdstone for their National League Cup visit of Brighton & Hove Albion’s PL2 side on Tuesday...
