VICS SET TO MOVE IN WITH LINNETS

NORTHWICH Victoria are to play their home games at Runcorn Linnets’ APEC Taxis Stadium for the next two seasons.
Midland Premier side Vics currently play at Winsford United’s Barton Stadium but have been told, on the advice of Winsford Town Council, that their tenancy must end once the season is over.
A Linnets statement said: “Without another of the county’s longestablished clubs, Witton Albion, accommodating us for our first four years of existence, the Linnets name would probably not have survived.
