STELLING RESIGNS AMIDST A POOLS PROTEST

JEFF Stelling has resigned as president of Hartlepool in protest at an “intolerable” ultimatum delivered by unpopular owner Raj Singh.
Singh put the club up for sale following relegation to the National League in 2023 and resigned as chairman in March this year amid protest from supporters.
With a sale seemingly imminent, he then announced his intention to cease all funding at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
