Thornaby FC’s new ownership have enjoyed a dream first season at the helm – overseeing an historic double promotion.
The Teesdale Park club are celebrating as both their men’s and women’s teams achieved their goals – and targets have already been set for the new campaign.
Spearheaded by Alison and John McGee, and the strategic vision of director of football Andy Campbell, the Blues’ men’s team, under manager Bobby Coltman, won promotion from the Step 6 Northern League Division Two with a penalty shootout victory over Jarrow in the playoff final.
