ALDERSHOT maintained their 100 per cent pre-season record after a brace from Josh Barrett inflicted defeat on Dorking.
The hosts started brightly and went close to opening the scoring as Dennon Lewis dragged a low shot wide from George Fran-comb’s cut-back, just before fellow new-boy Frank Vincent’s strike clipped the outside of the post.
Somewhat against the run of play, the Shots went in front on 11 minutes, Barrett rounding Harrison Foulkes and slotting home following good pressing by Cameron Hargreaves.
