HEDGES HANDED BET BAN

ALDERSHOT Town says they are standing by head of recruitment Jamie Hedges after he was handed a two-month ban from football for betting offences.
Hedges, 25, joined the Shots in June 2023 having worked under manager Tommy Widdrington at Bristol Rovers and King’s Lynn.
The club revealed on Thursday he had been charged by the FA in relation to 2,523 bets placed on football matches between January 2, 2020 to May 5, 2025.
He received a two-month ban from football with immediate effect and an £850 fine.
