HITCHIN SHOCK AS TWO MEN DIE

HITCHIN Town have expressed their deepest sympathy to the families of two men who died while unloading glass panels from a lorry in the club car park.
Police were called to the club’s Top Field stadium at around 2pm last Saturday following reports that two men had been seriously injured in the grounds.
The two men died at the scene, while a third sustained minor injuries.
An articulated lorry was cordoned off at the scene with piles of boxes unloaded on the grass behind it.
