The Seagulls beat Aldershot Town in extra-time to book their place in the second round and an all-National League South showdown at the Clarets.
And boss Rogers – thrust into the hot-seat following Scott Bartlett’s departure to Eastleigh in September – says victory over the National League side was one for the ages.
“The winning goal summed us up and what we’ve been like so far,” Rogers told The NLP.
