WHEN Barnet swept York City aside last February it had the feeling of a big ‘moment’ in the title race.
There was still a lot of football to be played, but the 3-1 victory – and York’s consolation was literally just that at the end of a game they’d been played off the park – put Dean Brennan’s side seven points clear with 13 games to go.
Of course, we now know, theirs was an unassailable lead even if the Minstermen’s fine end of season form pushed Barnet to run some more yards than they’d maybe have expected.
